How do I get started purchasing merchandise with HotDandy.com? Do I need a resale ID, or any tax IDs, a vendors license #?

Simple. You start by signing up, create your own account by either clicking the 'Account' icon at the top of the homepage or by clicking the login link at the upper left hand corner of the homepage.
If you've already created your account, or completed the above step then you're ready to start purchasing merchandise.
We do not require a resale/tax ID, or vendor license, etc. to purchase merchandise.

SALES TAX: Does HotDandy.com charge sales tax?

Yes, where applicable (please read).
State laws require that internet retailers collect sales tax in states where they are resident. HotDandy.com is currently a resident in the state of Ohio.
We are required to charge applicable tax for orders in Ohio. If you are a Business in Ohio, we will need your resale/EIN ID# at checkout, to process your order tax exempt order.

International Orders: Can people outside the United States order from HotDandy.com?

We accept orders only from the lower 48 United States. Sorry no international orders.

Shipping and Handling: How long will it take my item(s) to be delivered? Can I track my order?

HotDandy.com will process orders immediately in the order they are received, in some instances, due to order volume, please allow up to 48 hours for processing. Most product arrival times are between 2-12 business days from time of purchase, depending upon shipping options selected, shipping delivery location, and warehouse availability. We average 5 business days delivery time for UPS Ground and 3 business days for USPS Priority. You can track your shipment through a customer service request for tracking. This option should be used after 5 business days from your order placement if you have not received your items. Generally, UPS ground which is the most common shipping method used will take between 4-7 business days.

I'm not a Wholesaler, and I don't own a business. Can I still purchase items? Is there an extra cost, or a membership fee?

We like to keep it simple here, so no extra fees, membership packages, secret codes, or hidden charges. We are open to the public, if you will, HotDandy.com offers our items for anyone to purchase. We never charge fees up-front, to be able to purchase, or for membership fees. Our prices speak for us, that's good enough for HotDandy.com to believe you'll be a satisfied repeat customer.

Does HotDandy.com have discounts if I purchase large quantities?

Yes. Please contact us for orders over $5,000. We offer quantity discounts for every item which provide substantial profit gains/savings in quantity buys under $5,000.

Do you only accept online orders? What if I want to speak with someone to place my order?

We accept phone orders under special circumstances. If you would like to place your order directly by phone please go to the contact us page.

Does HotDandy.com mark-up the Shipping costs like some other websites do? Is there a minimum order dollar amount? How do I estimate shipping charges for my customer?

No, all our shipping costs are based on accurately priced UPS weight calculation tables, we are dialed in directly to UPS. There is No minimum order required.
Handling Fee... (applicable to all orders unless specified)
~ Orders with a subtotal of $0.01 - $135 will be charged a $4 handling fee.
~ Above fee is based on shipment to one customer or "ship to" address, and dropshipped orders.
~ No Handling Fee will be charged to orders which subtotal over $135.

HotDandy.com caters to wholesalers, distributors, online websites and auctioneers, and other business customers who order in large volume. To remain competitive in this market, we must price all of our products at true wholesale. Orders under $135 dramatically increases our cost of business for processing and shipment due to the amount of profit generated. Simply put, we can't pay someone $10 an hour to: find, box, tape, label, and ship a $2 pocket knife that takes them 20 minutes to complete. The reason why we charge a handling fee for small orders. Don't like the handling fee? We suggest creating a list of wanted products over a specified time and placing the order when the total order exceeds $135.
You can estimate shipping a number of ways. Go to www.UPS.com and download their weight based price table to estimate shipping costs. Some websites use 15% of order subtotal to calculate shipping. You can also check the shipping cost using the HotDandy virtual basket; first add a item to your basket. In the upper left corner you'll notice that this item was added to the virtual basket. Click shipping options, enter in the state and the zip, and the different shipping options and costs are displayed.

What kind of credit cards does HotDandy.com accept? Does HotDandy.com accept checks or money orders?

We accept all major credit cards, as well as debit cards. Sorry we do not accept Paypal (we do accept Paypal debit cards), checks, or money orders.

Is the Credit Card processing secure on HotDandy.com?

Yes. We use Wells Fargo Securelink, implementing one of the highest SSL encryption technologies available.

How will I know HotDandy.com has enough item(s) in stock to fulfill my orders? What if my ebay or yahoo auction closes and you're out of stock?

We understand it is a gamble sometimes displaying an item for sale that you do not have, especially if it is an auction, we have tried to make this as easy as possible. We update our inventory daily if needed. If you are concerned about a particular item availability, no problem, the current in stock inventory is always displayed on every item.
Remember, any item which is out of stock can be added to our waiting list... once added, you will be automatically notified by email when the item is restocked.

If I order a item out of stock, will I receive a refund? Will the item(s) be backordered? Will I be charged a handling fee if my adjusted order is under $135?

Yes. You will receive a refund, we will email you a refund invoice if you order a item which is out of stock and cannot be backordered, please allow 1-5 business days depending upon order volume.
Backorders will only be placed if the individual item ordered is over $75, not including shipping or handling fees.
Yes, you will be charged a handling fee if your adjusted order minus the refund invoice total (not including shipping) is under $135.

Am I able to download pictures, descriptions, prices, weights, etc. for your products too import into my existing website and/or auction business?

Does HotDandy.com offer Dropshipping? How much is it?

Yes. We offer dropshipping, FREE. No minimum orders. The dropship order is shipped blind, which means there is no reference or name on your customers packages to where it was shipped from. Enter your customers shipping information during checkout in the 'SHIP TO' field, and your information in the 'BILL TO' field, it's as simple as that.

How do I start dropshipping general merchandise with HotDandy.com?

HotDandy.com offers a Free Dropshipping service, and it's simple. Just create a FREE account with HotDandy.com, and on every order you place, two fields of information will be available for your order information entry...
The 'Ship To:' (left) field, and the 'Bill To:' (right) field... (see example below)
~Enter your information into the Billing field, you are the selling agent for this order.
~Enter your customers information into the Shipping field, they are receiving this order from you.
~Enter all other pertinent information, instructions are provided throughout the ordering process.

Terms and Policies

Returning Merchandise: HotDandy.com should be notified no later than 5 business days after you receive your order should you want to return your merchandise. Returns are accepted for the following reasons:
1) Defective Merchandise.

Please contact us as soon as receiving your merchandise, customer service if there is a problem. We will replace the defective items free of charge.

Cancelled Orders: If you wish to cancel an order prior to taking delivery of the merchandise, your account will be charged a $50.00 cancellation fee or 30% (which ever is greater). Please include your date of order, payment method, mailing address, or a copy of your invoice with your request.

Shipping Damage: In the rare case your order, in whole or in part, is damaged by a carrier, the claim must be filed with the carrier. We will replace defective merchandise, but cannot be held liable for the actions of the freight carrier. Please contact us if you item is damaged by the freight carrier, we will help you process the claim.

Warranties: All of our products carry warranties and some carry extended warranties. Contact sales department for assistance on placing your manufacturer warranty claim.
